Checklist for Traveling with Young Kids
(A) HOTELS
- check hotel facilities - if kids club, high chairs, kids-friendly menu, children's swimming / wading pool / water slides, baby sitting service are available
- request crib and stroller if available
- check bed size - as you two love to sleep with daddy and mommy at hotel
- check if there is any room occupancy limitation
(B) AIRLINE
- reserve child meal
- reserve front seats if possible
- bring things which can amuse / comfort the little ones during the flight
- spare clothes for kids
- spare clothes for adult （my kid vomitted on me @@！）
(C) INSURANCE
(D) THINGS TO BRING / DO
- big bottle of water
- thermometer
- 小林退熱貼+ medicine (vomit, cough, fever, runny nose, diarrhea) + vacciation if necessary
- diapers + travel potty
- milk powder, disposable milk bottles, bibs
- toothbrush, kids toothpaste, plastic cups
- body lotion, bath/shower gel, shampoo, big towel, sweat towel
- sanitizer, wet tissue (extremely useful for little girls cleaning toilet seats in public toilets, lots of tissue packets
- scissors, nail clipper, comb
- mosquito repellent, sunblock lotion, itch eraser, adhesive bandages
- sunglasses, hats, umbrella, raincoat,
- socks, clothes, windbreaker, underwear, pyjamas
- personal quilts
- slippers for use in hotel room, swimming pool and beaches,
- stroller and rain sheild
- swimwear
- (disposable) personal bowls, spoons, chopsticks
- snack, water bottle
- things which keep the little ones amused (e.g. toys / books / pens / paper)
- landary bags, clothes drying line if necessary
- detergent, washing powder
- empty box for keeping fresh fruits
- spare bags
- set of spare clothes when going out
- camera + charger
- ice skiing - snow boots, snow pants, snow jacket, scarf, snow gloves, hats
